How Does NeoGraft Automated Hair Transplantion Work?

NeoGraft FUE vs. Traditional Strip Method

The traditional, or strip method of hair restoration, cuts a large strip from your scalp to harvest the hair from. Your head and scalp are then sewn back together, and the follicles are harvested from the cut scalp strip. Tiny slits are then cut into the balding area, and the follicles are implanted into those slits. In the NeoGraft method, no scalp cutting is needed. Each hair follicle is extracted one-by-one and transplanted into the balding areas one-by-one. The results are no scarring, much less discomfort, and downtime.

Step One: Donor Hair Removal

A donor section of hair is chosen, usually on the back of your head. The hair follicles are removed with an extractor tool using gentle pneumatic pressure. This pressure can be adjusted depending on the individual’s scalp tightness.
